Here’s everything you can expect from the new iPhone 11 series
Apple is all set to introduce new iPhone variants on September 10, 2019. These new iPhones are expected to be launched as “iPhone XI” instead of iPhone 11. The upcoming variants of this series will include budget-friendly, midrange flagship, and premium-priced models that will be successors to the iPhone X versions. These new models are reported to be marketed as iPhone XI, iPhone XI Pro, and iPhone XI Pro Max. There are also reports of a fourth variant that will be called the iPhone XI R.
Design and specifications
Among the biggest changes speculated by mobile geeks and iPhone lovers is the XI’s camera upgrade. Top-of-the-line variants are expected to have a triple camera system. The three rear-facing lenses will have a greater capacity for wide-angle shots and are intended to give a tough competition to other multi-camera phones made by companies like Samsung and Huawei.
Bilateral charging is another feature that might be available on the iPhone XI. It’s been rumored that with iPhones and Airpods, you would also be able to charge other phones and accessories that support bilateral charging. Apple’s A12 Bionic chip, which powers the iPhone X, is more powerful than most processors used in the best Android phones. But the A12X chip present in iPad Pros or the newer A13 Bionic chip might power the latest iPhone. It’s almost certain that the new iPhones will not support 5G connectivity due to some technical logjam. You might also not be able to see any major design changes in the new models. It is expected that Apple will maintain its design that was introduced with the iPhone X in 2017.
Release date and price
Amidst all the speculations regarding its specifications, the new iPhone 11 is all set to be launched on September 10, 2019. Like all its previous releases, Apple will also roll out its pre-order and official sale dates. You can pre-order the iPhone XI from Apple’s official website and major carriers across the country. Looking at the pricing trend of the iPhones launched over the years, the latest iPhone can be one of the most expensive iPhones yet. The three variants may be priced anywhere between $750 to $1200.
